On June 17th at 9 am the Honey Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District will be hosting this month’s meeting of the Walworth County Lakes Association (WCLA). The WCLA was formed to share resources and experiences in lake protection and management issues among the many lake operations in Walworth County.
Following a short business meeting there will be a presentation about Light Pollution by Mr. Adam McCulloch from Geneva Lakes Astrophysics and Stem (GLAS) Education. There will also be a roundtable discussion of the information presented at the Wisconsin Lakes Convention in April, and a visit to the Honey Lake Dam.
This meeting is free and open to the public. It will be held at the shelter on East Lakeshore Drive and Ravine, across from the parking area for the south beach. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be held at the Spring Prairie Town Hall (N6097 State Road 120). Light refreshments will be served and handicapped bathroom facilities will be on-site.
