Bathymetric Study - trailer and motor waiver

Field activities to determine the depth of water and thickness of sediment in Honey Lake will be conducted in July. This field work will require the use of a trailer and motor to launch and power the needed equipment and boat. The Honey Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District has provided a waiver to the engineering firm to launch from a trailer at the north beach boat launch and use a motorized boat on the lake. The data collection on the lake should be completed in one day. The schedule for the field work will be updated here when it is available.

The District would like to remind everyone that unless special permission is obtained from the District only electric trolling motors are allowed to be used on the lakes and that all boats must be carried in. Any trailers or motorized vehicles used to transport boats to the lakes must remain in designated parking areas. Thank you.
