Honey Lake Drawdown

The water level in Honey Lake was lowered beginning the week of June 3, 2019 to allow repairs to the dam structures that were damaged in the 2017 flood.  However, additional damage was discovered, which will necessitate additional repairs.  The continued rain has hampered efforts to lower the water level as needed for all the repairs, although work is progressing when possible. When the water has been lowered sufficiently, no fishing, boating or swimming will be permitted in Honey Lake, and signs will be posted at that time. Your cooperation during this time will help minimize damage to Honey Lake, and will allow all the lakes to be returned to their normal status as soon as possible.  Thank you.
