Repairs to Honey Lake Dam and Drawdown Structure
Due to damage sustained during the 2017 flood, repairs will be performed to the Honey Lake Dam, spillway, and drawdown structure in 2019. While the repairs are being conducted, the water in Honey Lake will be lowered as much as possible to facilitate the required repairs and maintenance, which will also result in lower water levels in Delmonte Lake and Tahoe Lake. For safety reasons, no swimming, boating or fishing will be permitted on Honey Lake until water levels are restored to normal levels. Also, please limit any disturbance to the lake beds while water levels are lowered. The scheduled repairs have been delayed from their original anticipated start date in April. We will update this notice when additional information is available.
