The Honey Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District has submitted applications to treat up to 64 acres of water on Honey Lake, Delmonte Lake and Tahoe Lake with aquatic pesticides to control aquatic invasive plant species, specifically Curly Leaf Pondweed. If the applications are approved by the DNR, the treatments would take place this spring, after April 1.  A copy of the permit application is provided here, and copies are posted in the kiosks located at the north beach and at the park on Shervin Drive.
